Preparing for a funeral is a daunting task. It is a time of mourning but also increasingly a time for celebrating a life well lived – to give thanks for the life of a loved one and the time you spent with them and also express what they meant to you. They are indeed ‘still loved, still missed and very dear’.
Funerals are a time when you acknowledge your feelings for a loved one in your own special way. It would be a privilege to help you express your wishes at this time – your wishes your way – be it religious, non religious or a bit of both but importantly it is what you want.
I would visit you and help you plan the ceremony to your wishes. During my visit we would talk through the kind of service you would like and plan it together. You may feel you, or others, are able to take part, maybe with a reading or a tribute, if not I am here to support you. I would help you choose music, readings and personalise the ceremony saying your goodbyes to your loved one. You may already have a clear idea what you want or may wish to hear about various options, these days there are many more possibilities than there used to be.
Subsequent to our meeting I would develop a draft ceremony which we discuss and work on till it is exactly what you want, reflecting your beliefs and wishes, and those of your loved one.
I’m here to ease the burden of this daunting task and on the day, deliver the ceremony you want with kindness and consideration.
If you feel I could help at this most difficult time please contact me or ask your funeral director to do so. It would be a privilege to help.
'From the moment we met with Pat it was clear to us that we were in good hands. Her experience and calm demeanour helped us a great deal at a very difficult time. We wanted a more personal celebration of Mum's life than a standard funeral service would normally deliver. Pat took the time to chat to us and to really understand Mum's life and her key characteristics and life experiences, which were then well reflected in the service she delivered for us.
Once we had agreed the order of service the arrangements with the undertakers and crematorium were professionally managed for us and we could not have wished for a better celebration of Mum's life. For those wishing to celebrate the life of a loved one in a personal way, we would thoroughly recommend using Moments in Time.'

'Hi Pat
Words cannot express our gratitude in such a fabulous service you provided for mum today. We could not have wished for a better person to have given such a beautiful service.
Everyone watching on the live link, and who attended, said it was such a personal eulogy that was so appropriate. We just cannot thank you enough Pat you were brilliant!
Everyone has said it’s one of the most personal funerals they have ever encountered. Mum would of been very proud of you too!
Thanks again Pat
Take care'
Stuart.
Pat was absolutely amazing. She helped plan and arrange the whole funeral, very knowledgeable about the procedure and timings, listening and implementing all the families and deceased's wishes to the letter. She was available at all times to answer any questions and took the time to sit with members of the family to understand the sort of person our mother was. The Eulogy was perfect, informative and humorous, and read with empathy.
Highly recommended,
Thank you.
Becky
